Dr. David Ross - Oral Surgeon - Bethesda

dr. David Ross, D.D.S., P.C. (oral surgeon)
4949 battery lane
Bethesda, MD
Dr Ross removed all of my wisdom teeth with NO swelling or pain at all. He is so easy to get along with and has such a pleasant attitude, I was not nervous about the procedure at all. I would recommend him to ANYONE!

I was just doing a GOOGLE search to see if Dr. Ross was still working. Over the span of several years he removed MANY baby teeth that didn't want to fall out from my children's mouths. He refused to traumatize any of us, as the first oral surgeon we had gone to had done. Years later, it was my turn. One reason I had been so concerned about my children, was that I had never had a tooth pulled, so I didn't know what they would experience. Dr. Ross was so terrific; it was over, and I hadn't realized he had already pulled my tooth! Although I live about eighty miles away now, I want to make sure he is still available to pull my other wisdom teeth.

While I had no problems with Dr. Ross himself, the staff at the receptionist desk were obnoxious, insulting, outright rude, unprofessional, and just nasty people all around. I've never been talked at like that by ANYONE my entire life, much less someone whose job is to be a receptionist. I am by no means a confrontational person so I just sort of took it, but I know that it couldn't have been just me as I heard these same staff members bitch out some other client over the phone -- for the whole waiting room to hear -- on another occasion. Believe me, it was enough to sour the whole experience.

I totally agree about the last comment about the staff. The main receptionist is very condescending, answers any questions with an arrogant air and a look that says "why are you so stupid". She told me that they did not take my insurance plan, but Dr. Ross (who is very friendly) said that as a courtesy they would file my claim for me. The receptionist was not happy and definitely took it down on me. It's too bad that a nice doctor has such unprofessional staff working for him.

I agree with last two comments - Dr. Ross was pleasant but a young girl in the back made me feel like I inconvenienced her when I had questions about the healing process. Terrible. The front desk had some attitude also.

Painless, fast, pleasant, efficient, and professional are all perfect adjectives describing my tooth extraction experience. Dr Ross and his entire staff went the extra mile from initial contact. Considering my obvious pain they made room for me in their busy Fri schedule.
